Do the King and Queen need a King or Queen Sized Bed?

It’s nice having a king sized bed isn’t it?  You have all that room to stretch out in?  You have your own side with your favorite blanky and your perfect sleep number, and all your books stacked up on your nightstand.

You also have your own side to retreat to when you’re arguing.  According to Feng Shui, you may lose each in a king sized bed, because there’s too much room.  It’s almost easier to turn away from each other than to turn toward each other.
There is some other stuff going on in a king sized bed.  When you look at the box spring of a king sized bed, you will see two twin sized box springs pushed next to each other, that support the king sized mattress.  With a space between them.

A twin sized bed is for a child, so if you’re trying to create a communicative, healthy, loving adult partnership you don’t have enough support in a twin box spring – you’re swimming in an energy of childish immaturity.

And the split between the two box springs is a chasm of energy that can create separation or lack of communication in a relationship.

On the other hand, a queen sized bed has one box spring and one mattress, whole supportive, empowering energy with no chasms you can fall into, not too big, not too small … just right.

If you do have a king size bed and you feel you may be slipping away from your beloved, or you would like to feel closer to each other and create a willingness to turn to each when things aren’t going so well, go out right now and get a queen sized bed.  Just kidding!  But if you are ready to upgrade, a queen sized bed is a very healthy option.

OR, if you must keep your king for now, get a flat or fittedred sheet.  You’re going to put that sheet under the mattress on top of the box springs.

The wholeness of the sheet and the yang fire energy of the color red energetically heals the chasm, and unites the two sides of the bed, which can help you reunite, reconnect, revitalize, reinvigorate your partnership.
